Hey you Washburners(ites?), apparently someone at Washburn is trying to get my attention:

I saw the first one at the guitar shoppe when I was buying parts for my Floyd. If I wouldn't have been in a hurry, I would have tried one out. I especially like the Rhoads-esque white-with-black-pinstripes look. I wonder if they're going to hear any high-pitched whining from Jackson/Fender over that.

I have always thought of that type of shape as more of and early 70s "Bennie and the Jets" shape. ;-) It think it looks cool Matt!

Darn tootin'! You make it sound like that's a bad thing. If God hadn't intended us to use pointy guitars he never would have invented protective undergarments.

[Double-Sigh]:D And in the 50's and 60's they had giant tail fin cars, flying v's, and that "radical" Stratocaster thing-a-majigy.
I like it, Matt.:AOK: What I'd consider is how it plays, sounds, and how comfortable it is when you hold it. I had an Explorer clone at one time, and it was very comfortable and balanced, but the hardware was junk and the neck unstable, so away it went. :pancake:

I didn't know there was a town named Washburn in West Virginia.

I'll bet it's a big-hair, leopard-tights, pointy-guitar, time-warp village.

Here's a picture of the Mayor with the city council.

I grew up with a kid that was doing wheelies on his stingray bike and came down on a fin of a 50's Cadillac and he lost an eye (true story).

Moral of the story: Don't do wheelies around Matt's guitars.

Actually, my personal stable of guitars are all wheelie-safe. All three are rather boringly Strat-shaped. My Fender has a carved top and no arm-cut, but it's still Strat shaped.
