According to Harmony Central MAP will be about a grand. Does anyone know what MAP means?

I think it stands for Minimum Advertised Price, or the lowest price that a retailer can publish for that particular item.

I could be wrong on the acronym, however.

The Dorchester model looks like the result of a chance encounter between a Hagstrom and a Mosrite. Not that there's anything wrong with that!;)

Not liking the looks of the Belmont model at all, but that's just my own personal, slightly lopsided opinion.

Coming from Godin, though, I bet they play well and are put together right.

I like them both.
I think everyone should have one guitar that's not standard Fender/Gibson issue. Just something a little offbeat that plays well.
Growing up around the time of southern rock's heyday, I loved the explorers, firebirds, v's, etc.
Of course, everyone needs a Strat, Tele, Les Paul, 335/355, and a good Jazz/P bass too.........:D
