Peter Gabriel has finally compiled the tapes from 20 years ago from all the musicians that visited and recorded at his studio. NPR has done an interview with Peter and you can listen HERE (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=91747508). The release is called Big Blue Ball.

There are songs included as well to listen to. It sounds like an amazing amalgamation of world music.

Thanks for posting. I've always liked Peter Gabriel too. "So" is a fantastic album.

I've listened to it a while today and it definitely changes the vibe in the house. There are some very artistic moments for sure. Great grooves abound but some songs are a little bit off the mark. Not very many though. Only 2 come to mind.

I would call it a groovy laid back album with some great body moving - head bobbing numbers that you can't resist. Throw in dashes of musical complexity that take a while to recognise.
