You are still all aglow, aren't you my friend? What a great result, and I am sure very satisfying after having struggled with some injuries over the last few years as I understand, and turning in your best result in over 10 years! Looking strong in those photos too. :AOK:

Thanks! You can't see it on the photos, but my nipples were bleeding and I had two red blotches on my white singlet... :)

Bleeding nipples? Aren't you supposed to be running on your feet?
(Maybe it's time for a Manzier!)

It sometimes happens if the shirt material is stiff, or if there is something that rubs on the nipples. In my case, I put the bib number a bit too high, so the pins were shaving off the skin on my nipples. I guess it looked like I put in a good effort - at least I was bleeding!

From what I understand when you get to mach I your nipples automatically bleed.

Say...what about some speed glasses? Those straight front things have got to be adding to your times. What a fit old dude.:)

There was this one time that CB . . . . oh, nevermind.:thwap:

Robert, years ago when I ran we used to put vasoline on our, um . . . thingies to keep our shirts from rubbing them raw. Now if we could just do something about those big veins of yours.:poke:

Nice job. 5:50 per mile. +/-. well done. :bravo:

Yeah the bleeding nipple thing is pretty disgusting. Pretty common site in marathon running. I've never had the pleasure. Thank you very much.

I usually tape the nipples with sports tape, but I usually don't have to for just a half-marathon. I never felt anything anyway, so what if I lost some r Huge veins, bleeding nipples - I feel like a walking (or running) soap opera!

I think I would have felt pain for sure, WHY DO SO MANY RUNNERS SHAVE THEIR BODY? I have seen a lot of runners who appear that is what they do? I'm not into pain, although I have pain quite often.

I took some photos of the sunset with my new camera while camping at Calaway Park. I thought this turned out pretty good.

Thanks ww, yep that is a roller coaster. Calaway Park is an amusement park for younger kids - I enjoyed it too!

They have a log ride there that was really fun. A wet ride, but that's okay!
