Here's an 80s band that never got enough credit. Guitars by former Ozzy guitarist Jake E. Lee and fronted by the late Ray Gillen. Their self-titled debut album has some great blues-based hard rock.

"Winter's Call"

"Live Wire" (live, with Jake E. Lee solo)

"Rumblin' Train" (live, this song has always been one of my favorites)

"Devil's Stomp" (live, audio leaves something to be desired)

I like one of the Youtube comments: "Jake E. Lee has badass written all over him in seven different languages."

I love those albums. Jake rocks! It really is too bad about Ray. I really had high hope for that band. Ray's voice was very unique and suited to the music. Thanks for posting this video.

Badlands rocks! Jake did some amazing guitar work, but there was a lot of soul there.

One of my favorite bands. Jake's tone on the first album was sonic perfection.

I loved this band! Jake E. Lee is one of my guitar gods!
My first guitar looked like his black and white Charvel.....although it was only a Synsonic far east Strat *lol*

It is really sad that the singer died so young.
