What is the best guitar DVD you have ever encountered?

For me, the answer is easy. Jazz Rock Mastery, by Scott Henderson.

The one(s) that helped me the most are the Metal Method Course (http://www.metalmethod.com/basic-guitar-lessons-original.htm). The most important part for me was the part that explained music theory. For the first time, I understood the modes and how they relate to each other. There's a newer, updated version (http://www.metalmethod.com/basic-guitar-lessons.htm) I'm considering getting too.

I have three Videos that really helped me a lot in improving my playing when I was young. I felt they were a good substitute for a teacher at that time.

1. Vinnie Moore - Speed & Accuracy

Triplet picking, picking ideas, this opened the door to faster playing for me, although I rarely play fast licks

2. Marty Friedman - Melodic Controle

This has nothing to do with Megadeth, more with Marty's Asian influenced solo music. He explains how to follow chords in the solo and how to developp interesting sports through unconventional bending techniques.

3. John Petrucci - Rock Discipline

Working with a metronome, developping a practicing discipline. Very good Video.
