Hi folks,

I'm a new member to this forum and I'm happy to be here!

I'm really looking forward to learning a few things and exchanging ideas.

I'm one of those G.A.S. guys always on the lookout for the next great deal, but due to limited funds my collection is limited to 2 or 3 guitars at a time. So it's a bit of a revolving door of guitars in my house.

My main guitar right now is a parts-o-caster made from a 3TS American Standard body, a MIM Robert Cray neck, Fralin Vintage hots with base plate (what a great innovation!).

I also have a 1977/78 Aria Pro-II LP Custom copy with a Phat Cat neck and a Fralin 9K PAF bridge.

And I'm trying to build another Strat with P-90s but I'm still settling on a body and neck. I just bought a Squier II neck after reading the great reviews on them and it's really nice but it won't fit a standard neck pocket (it's 2-1/16"). So we'll see if I keep it or not depending on if I can find a compatible body.

My amp is a Fender 65 DRRI and I just got a FullDrive 2 Mosfet pedal - nice!

I'm a blues guy and I mostly play rhythm so that rig pretty much gets me by. Well, I also have a CryBaby too but don't use it too much.

Guess that pretty much covers it.

Looking forward to some interesting dialogue!!

Wow! What a great welcoming committee!

I'm looking forward to spending some time on this forum.

I'll post some pics of my #1 Strat when I get it back from the shop (I'm having a treble bleed volume mod done).

And it looks like the next project is starting to come together. I'm looking at a 90's American Strat body with the "swimming pool" route, a Fender Classic Players '50s neck and a pair P-90 pickups (probably Lollars).

Thanks to all for the kind words!!
