I must be losing my mind because I remember writing this and posting it earlier.

I've been playing my Dot a lot (about 50% of the time) and my Wildkat (35% of the time) so I've drifted back to Epiphones. I wouldn't mind picking up a Casino and a Sheraton, but that will have to be down the road.

Anyway, I thought you would like to view some nice epi's.

Damn, I could have sworn I posted this already.

Hey JS I have a 2001 Samick made Sheraton II. It is in the Natural color and is a very sweet guitar. I also have an Elitist Les Paul Custom that is an absolsustely amazing guitar. I also have the Gibson versions but I like I love the feel of the Sheaton's neck.
I can see why you would love the Dot.

I've gone through 2 Epi's I got rid of, one because my Agile Valkyrie SG had P-90's that sounded a lot better than the HB's in my G400 SG, and my Flying V only because one of my crazy friends offered to trade me a Ric 620 for it.

So currently that leaves my recently-acquired WildKat, my first setneck semi and first guitar with a Bigsby. I plan to keep ahold of that 'un.

I hadn't been to Gbase in a long time. Fun to look. The prices listed are somewhat inflated over what I'd ever pay though. Then again, I'm a cheap bastard.

I wouldn't pay it either. The two Epi's you got rid of aren't my style, so it wouldn't concern me.

I'm just falling for the semi-hollow and hollow body designs. LP's don't do it for me, at least not Epi's or Gibson's. I couldn't tell you why, just one of those things.

The hollows and semi's have always been Epi's best bets. I'm not really an SG guy, the only reason I had a G400 was because I found an MIK one locally I could get for $175 (same place I got the WildKat). Somewhat similarly, the Agile Valkyrie SG with P-90's that I got was only because they went on closeout, for $99, which is a ludicrously great price.

The Flying V was another local deal. I wasn't in the market for one, but one became available for $250 and was very clean and came w/ohsc. People freaking loved that guitar. I brought it to a show as a backup one time and the crowd heckled me until I played it! (Yes, I know, I need a better class of friends.)

Funny thing is, I traded the V to an old acquaintance for his Ric. He subsequently sold it to his bandmate (whom I've also known forever). I saw them gig a couple times where the bandmate played the V. He's now trying to sell it, so I could probably repurchase it for what I originally paid for it or even a little less. But after having bought the WildKat and my P-90 Strat I can't afford it. That thing looked badass on stage.

I had the Epi SG from China and it was a well built, good sounding guitar, just not my favorite guitar and was being neglected sitting in the case.

He had other Rics, so I guess he thought he was expanding his stable.

Another great reason to have crazy friends. :D

I was playing my Ep LP amber plus top the other night thru my Delta Blues amp and it sounded really sweet with the nickel plated Seymour Duncans I put in it: the '59 in the neck and the JB in the bridge. Wow. Great sound. Probably my best sounding guitar. I was playing thru a Toneworks AX5G with wah steady at a certain tone thru programs 4, 8, and 9. Played a few guitars with that set up and they sounded great, especially the Peavey Gen EX standard tele style two pup. That Epiphone is awesome though, absolutely.

How about some pics? I looked at the 6 you have uploaded here and didn't see this Epi LP...

True. I need to take some pictures of it. It is definitely worthy of them. Really nice, not a burst but flammed maple top.

I also have a couple other guitars I should post pictures of like my free affinity strat I built up to an outstanding tone machine.

I'll work on it and get it done.
