You should be able to listen to it via Windows Media Player.

Right now as I'm typing, his show is about the Stratocaster, and he talks, plays music as well as guitar - he's playing a Strat live on the show. He explains how the Strat has been used over the years, what amps work well with them, who used them, etc. Lots of great stuff for us Strat lovers! It's a 2 hour quality guitar lesson with the legendary Randy Bachman!

Great music being played of course. :D :AOK:

Broadcast Time:
Saturdays at 7 p.m. (8 p.m. AT, 8:30 p.m. NT) on CBC Radio One

Two hours of music and stories from one of Canada's musical legends. Playing with The Guess Who, Bachman Turner Overdrive and as a solo act, Randy Bachman has provided a veritable soundtrack to the last thirty years of popular music. Now he's come to CBC Radio to play his favourite songs and tell stories from his life on the road and in the studio.

Pretty cool, just don't start a poll asking who has the best radio show.

We know the answer, it's Django Reinhardt

When he comments that the guitarist is playing the Strat out of phase, what does that mean?

He means pickup position 2 and 4. The "clucky" sounding pickup selections.

It was cool to hear him talk about the Swedish bands like ABBA and Roxette! I've seen Roxette live, and never did Per Gessle play those guitar parts - he had a pro player do that.

Alway's been one of my fav's, when I had a chance to get a dvd of his recent concert with Cummings I jumped on it, their is a lot of dialog on how his tunes with the Guess Who came about, and they still.............. have it..!

Just an added note: I've been listening to this station most of the day and it is well worth tuning in if you enjoy the blues and/or jazz.
