Nothing to do with car crashes. If you are looking for a light, funny, easy summer read "Fender Benders" by Bill Fitzugh might be worth checking out. The novel is a send up of the Nashville Country music scene. Various smarmy producers, drug addled stars and other wacky characters fill the pages. Has a bit of a Carl Hiassen feel to it. The writer did his homework . Funny references to Pro Tools, Gibson Flat tops, the Bluebird cafe and more.

I picked it up at the local library. Knew nothing about the book or the author. Just seemed like it might be a fun, easy read. Which it was.

Hope you like it.
