Hey y'all!

Right, so this dude brought me some of his guitars to 'fix up' (apparently changing the strings is 'fixing a guitar up'!! :D ) and one of them is an electro-acoustic by a company called Anturia.

Steel-string, dual humbucker, 3-way toggle, and quite big. The toggle is shmucked and the pots need replacing, the only problem is that there is no direct access to the electronics.

It's just a simple case of removing the strings and taking the pickups out and routing everything through the pup holes, isn't it?

I've never done a guitar like this so I just wanted to make sure before I started on it.

As payment, he's giving me a 1996 Affinity Squier Strat in near-mint condition (minus backplate, :whatever: ) and it has a very pronounced flame on the neck! I'm not complaining! That's axe #10 to my collection!

Cheers everyone! :AOK: :AOK:

Sounds like more of a "hollowbody"
Yeah you gotta go through the pup cavities....kinda like building a ship inside of a bottle.
