I want to put new pickups in my Schecter Omen 6 and am considering GFS pickups. I want to put in some high gain ones. The Power Rails and the Crunchy Rails might be neat. I play mainly rock and a lot of blues. Classic type rock: LZ, LS, Marshall Tucker, Allman Bro's, that type of thing.

Should I be looking at Crunch Pat High Output humbuckers, or GFS Fat Pat Alnico's, or Dream 180's, or Loudmouths?

What would be similar to the Seymour Duncan JB I have in the bridge of another guitar along with the SD '59 in the neck. These are about 14k ohm and 10k ohm, respectively.

Plus I would like to get tonal characteristics similar the the SD's described above.

Even the Schecter tech support dude told me the stock pups are not really great pickups, but are entry level ones and that I could vastly upgrade the stock pickup to get some greatly improved sound.

Any ideas on which GFS pickups I could put in this on a budget to get some super great tones?

Feedback appreciated,

Duffy
