Omar Torrez

So I've recently been listening to some shows from Tom Waits' 2008 Glitter and Doom tour. The guitar player in Tom's band for these shows is a guy called Omar Torrez. I was not aware of him previously, but he has really impressed me. I know what pretty much every lick of every song of Tom's should sound like (especially the ones that were first played by Marc Ribot) but Torrez seems to have studied them quite well and adds some of his own which all fit perfectly.

He also fronts his own band, The Omar Torrez Band.
