Journey with Heart and Cheap Trick! A blast from the past but a fun show. A friend of mine's 19 year old daughter loves Journey (I'm not sure how that happened) and the tix were a birthday present for her. All ages were represented. The show was good. I have to say it's amazing how much the new singer from Journey sounds like Steve Perry.
Probably the best part of the show was the venue. The show was at Bethel Woods -- the site of the original Woodstock -- in NY near Monticello. The place looked brand new -- I think it was renovated a few years ago. If you live in the area, I highly recommend catching a show there. Just make sure you're not in a hurry to leave after the show. The traffic was worse than any football game I've ever been at. Took us 2 hours to go 10 miles to our hotel.
