When I worked for Fender, we had a brand under our wings called Benedetto (guitars). One year Bob Benedetto brought this guitarist with him called Jimmy Bruno (at that time a 7-String player). Both are wonderful persons and great artists. Jimmy had a fix engagement on the Queen Elisabeth II, where he played every evening in the Diamong Lounge, while crossing the Atlantic from NY to Europe. What a wonderful job, he? I can imagine people enjoying their Whiskey and Cigars while Jimmy gives them some smooth Jazz.
I found Jimmy's pedaltone technique quite amazing. Unfortunately, there's not much vidoes on the tube, but in this video from (0:12-0:24) you can see it.
