I only discovered Andy Latimer and Camel in the last 5 years but not only is he a great composer his tone is consistently awesome. It's a very pure bare bones tone and lots of soul. Occasionally he'll use a phaser but usually his use of effects is either minimal or not at all. A great player featured in Guitar Player magazine as one of the top 40 underrated guitarists.
