Looks cool. David Allen makes good stuff. :AOK: I know he has spent a substantial amount of time tweaking the transformes in his amps and kits.

Another kit I've heard good things about is the Mojo Tone Deluxe Reverb clone kit. It's about the same price as the V18. FWIW.

Graydon started the whole 18Watt phenomenon and his kits are about the closest thing you can get to a real Marshall 18 watt from the late 60s


I've heard good things about this company as well:

They are based in Canada, so they would be a good choice for Canadian Fretters.

Having said that, once I get my current amp project done, I'm going to scratch build a 18W Lite IIB circuit. No bells or whistles, just tone to the bone.

Truth be told, I doubt he even needed that. I'm sure that's been in his sights for a while now.
