I think someone has tweed on the brain. ;) So where is it? Or is it on order?

I've got dozens of 6AQ5s and 6AK6s. I should build something similar. Another project to add to the list [sigh] :D

I think someone has tweed on the brain. ;) So where is it? Or is it on order? Nowhere, unless you count the Fender Champion 600 in my basement.

Unless, that is, you have ordered one for me. ;)

From that guyz site:

"The controls are pretty simple: Volume & On/Off, Treble, and Bass. I plan on adding a pilot light (there's a small hole to the left of the knobs)."

Man-O-man! A gas powered amp? No need to do the Townsend or Jimi thing. It'll blow up itself when you hit that prefect power chord causing the tube to heat up.

tung, what is at the top of your project list?

I'm going to make a few minor changes mainly due to the transformers that I have available. I'm going to use a NOS 5Y3 rectifier instead of the 6CA4. I've also redrawn the board so that the grid stoppers go directly on the tube sockets instead of on the board as shown n the layout.

I'm going to try the Edcor 15W transformer to see how it works.

I may actually design a face plate and have it made. I may want to put this one into a cabinet.
