I'm seriously thinking of buying one of these when it is available (and when I can afford it :rotflmao: ). It would be cool to see how the morphing feature works.

Still, it has an FX loop. It would be very easy to patch in a digital reverb. :D

It is a lot less money than the Two Rock 50w head I read about today in this month's Premiere Guitar. Another drool producer, with vague comparisons, with distinctions, being made to Dumble land, but WAAAYYYY outside the price range. I like me a built in verb too. But that is nice looking and the switching option sounds like a cool thing.

I am not going to GAS for it though, I still like my own little amph too much, and was darned proud of it yesterday.

Not from MF (and it doesn't stand for Musician's Friend strictly).

As usual, the prices in the european webshops are exactly the same as in the US - but in €. The Rebel is $599 at GC and €599 here. :(

It sucks! I was really hoping this would be a bit cheaper.

I need try before buy on this one, I'm just not feeling much from the video reviews so far.I do like the versatility but I feel I won't be switching tube settings around, once a good tone is dialed in.

Had about 10 minutes to kill and played one of these today, on a American Standard Tele (which was very nice, BTW).

WOW. This little sucker is very loud, even through the 1x12 cab. This little amph is a monster. Fantastic tones and very versatile.

Too bad I'm not in the market for a tube amph.

BTW, I have found that distorted, angry, snarling, loud, pissed off American Teles do in fact rule.:AOK:

^ I wonder if it cleans up well when backing the volume and if it is then still loud enough to rehearse with a band. Not a loud band though.

I would think that it's plenty loud enough for playing along with a band. The one watt setting was hurting my ears.

There's a review of this ampf in the latest Premier Guitar. It's one of the most glowing reviews I've ever read in that mag. Here's a link:

Well I was at GC yesterday and spent about an 1 1/2 hr with this amp and to tell ya the truth can't see anything special about this amp you figure if you don't have a cab your going to have $850.00 in this and there is far better amps out there for even less money.Might be just the one at my local Gc but if the one I played was example of there QC I would say there QC is non existent. Could not touch anything on the amp without a pop or sizzling.I really hate bashing something but just did not get this amp at all!!!!!!!

I get the impression that premier guitar reviews are just more glowing advertisements.
If they knock anything they typically pick out small details that are easily overcome..... kinda sneaky.

still,I plan to check one out myself
