Vox Handwired Mahogany cab Beauty

I saw one of these at my local shop. All I can say is wow. Dovetailed joints and Point to point wiring.
A little pricey but a real jewel.

This is a stellar amp. I played through the AC 15 handwired. I was one of the most beautiful sounding amps I have ever heard. If you can find a store that is willing to deal on one you can get them pretty cheap. I had my keyboardist (a department manager at GC) look up their cost on it. The AC15 head is just over $600.

I didn't get a price on it. It looks spectacular in person. What I did see was a Marshall 2266c 50 watt Vintage modern combo. It was 1799 which is a good price in Canada. It came in a dark blue tolex. I went to pick up a tube for my 65 deluxe and I was gassing big time. I even got to try one of those new 2008 Standards with the Asymetrical neck. It seemed ok and the guitar was beautiful at 2399. I really should not go into this store!

ET335 if you are talking about the Vox, it comes with a leather cover in a cream beige.
The Marshall does come in blue, and very dark blue.

Not me, I am going for a Two Rock!, And a Hughes and Kettner Statesman Quad El84, and that Bassman. I'll let him off the hook and let him bring me a re-issue on that one.

I'd love to have the vox but It's much too boutiqeish to risk hauling back and forth between gigs and rehearsals... sure would fit nice in the studio !
