Hey folks!

I'm doing another webchat and trying out a new "Live Classroom" format this week.

Its this Monday October 6th from 6:30-7:30pm Pacific Standard Time.

We are using Yahoo! Live and you can either participate with your webcam or just text chat and I'll be answering questions about my lessons, my book "Foundations for Guitar" or just music stuff in general...or just drop by to say "Hi!"

I was there! Fun stuff. I was probably too much all over the chat... I hope I wasn't too overwhelming for Mark and the other guys... I enjoyed Mark's show and tell. Great player, he is.

Thanks! I had fun...I actually appreciated your presence quite a bit because you were kind of a "facilitator" for the event....I think most guys were just hanging out to see what we did and I was expecting more questions so your input was a great help.

I think I have a better idea how to run one of these things now....maybe I'll do another in a few weeks if I still have the time open...

When are you doing one?

Hmm, I don't know when I will try this. Hopefully soon!

Do you have any ideas/suggestions on how to make it work well?

I'm thinking next time of having people email me questions before the chat and I can have a few things prepared....

Good idea. The times I've tried video chats, I have gotten hard-to-answer questions like, "teach me how play a good blues solo" - not really one easy answer to those kinds of questions! I've tried my whole life to play a good blues solo - and I don't succeed very often!
