Anyone managed to find a bridge cover (ashtray) to suit their Mexican Standard Strat' ?
(Yeh I've heard all the arguments for removing them)
Seem to only see them for Vintage American and Mexican strats.

I thought the ashtray covers were used on Teles, not Strats.

You can get them for strats too...I do know though that the string spacing on the mexican strats is different than on the American strats, so I don't know if that would make a difference or not. They might only fit on American vintage trems.

Cool! Never noticed a Strat with an Ashtray cover before.

The covers look very nice, but I've never seen one.

Found em! Fender-Vintage-Stratocaster-Replacement-Bridge-Cover-Music123 (http://www.music123.com/Fender-Vintage-Stratocaster-Replacement-Bridge-Cover-361402-i1130141.Music123)
Theyre cheap enough, Id probably buy one just to try it out...or for display purposes.
BTW they also have Tele ashtrays:AOK:
