I'm back! I missed a week due to the arrival of a beautiful baby daughter, but I'm back on track with a new lesson for you guys this week.

I know I was in the middle of a series on slide guitar but an idea I had for that lesson series seemed like a good thing to do with straight minor pentatonics so we have a non-slide standard tuning version of the lesson this week and then probably the slide version next week....

Congratulations for your newcomer :bravo: As for the lesson I like a lot the idea of breking the traditionnal licks by restricting on one or two strings only that's a brillant concept which seems very useful ! Unfortunately YiuTube is bloked at my job so I will have to wait to be back home to look at it ;)

Thanks! We are a full house now :D

I wish I could take credit for being brilliant but my college guitar teacher showed me the idea and I think he got it from a Mick Goodrick book called "The Advancing Guitarist" :)

Congratuations!and a very cool lesson.I think I will try and also learn all these notes on the fretboard(I lack here)since its on one string might make it a little easier for me.Oh and the is a beautiful guitar also.Sumi:D
