Picked up this link over at the G&LDP (forum), that someone posted picking it up from another forum, that someone blatantly violated copyright laws by copying and scanning to pdf this 74-page book. :whatever: They couldn't copy & post the recording that came with it, though. From '67, before cd's and cassettes, it was probably a phonograph record, maybe a flexible vinyl insert books used to come with.

Gotta try to find this book for real, with the recording. :master: :AOK: It's not just a Guitar Method book...it's for any instrument. In fact, the link to the pdf takes you to 'harmonicapros.com' :thwap:

Don't be misled by the title. Great general principles here, and an excellent section on The Blues, truly a jazz genre, after all.

Yo, CB  : if you see this, download it and go directly to page 55. ;)

If you look carefully, you can see a partial library stamp on the second page.

The book is still available:

Comes with CD, too. :AOK:

Yeah, tung, I saw that stamp. I s'pose since this particular copy is of a 41 year-old edtion of the book, that's beyond the 27-year (?) life of a copyright and it's in the Public Domain, so it's OK?

Thanks for the link. Gotta have this thing...

If you look carefully, the copyright was renewed in 1992. I didn't feel good about keeping it, so I deleted it from my hard drive.

I don't see a problem with keeping the download if you buy a copy of the book, though.
