Anybody have a blender pot installed on a Strat?
Im looking to install a set of Keystones and re-wire one of my Strats.

I found this kit (http://www.mojomusicalsupply.com/item.asp?pid=98851&pg=12388&id=2113349) and I really like the description, it sounds very desirable to me:

This is a Blender kit for Statocaster guitars. It will drop in to most Mexican or American Fender Strats with no modification. The Blender wiring has 1 volume, 1 master tone, and a Blender pot. In the neck position you can blend the bridge pickup in as much as you want. In the bridge position you can blend the neck pickup in as much as you want. In positions 2 and 4 you can have all three pickups on at once.

...so I was curious if anybody had something similar, and how do you like it???

Do you even need to buy the kit?

There is a wiring diagram:

You could rewire your guitar using the wiring diagram, although you'd probably want to use a 250k linear pot for the blender pot.

I really dont like de-soldering and re-soldering pots and switches, myself.
Ive got a spare pickguard so itll be a nice lil drop in after Im done...and I can store my OEM one safely, this will have multiple benifits for me in the future.

And the kits are dirt cheap!:AOK:
