When I was in Kingston, Ontario last weekend, I went to 3 pubs that were all in a row. They were also a block and a half away from our hotel. In each pub there were a good band playing. At one of the pubs, I caught the last few tunes by a band whose name I don't know. In that band was a guy by the name Steve Piticco. Wow, this guy must be Canada's best kept secret when it comes to country picking! He is a complete MONSTER picker! His technique, tasteful and ubercool lines he was playing left my jaw on top of my shoes.

Listen to One Way Rider and Hotwired in particular. Obviously Brent Mason had an influence on him.

I saw an add L&M had recently where he was hosting a seminar at their Markham location. I went to school with with some Piticco's... I believe they had an older brother whose name might have been Steve too, but I'm not sure if it's the same Gent. Getting old... memory fading
