Here's the GuitarBackingTracks.com track to Blitzkrieg Bop by the Ramones
http://www.guitarbackingtrack.com/play/ramones/blitzkrieg_bop.htm

And here's me making a bit of noise...

:thwap: Had a bit of trouble with the intro as you can tell... there wasn't a beat to count in on, but what the heck.

The guitar tone was Gearbox's Brian May 1, which lists the amp as a 67 Class A Top Boost through a 2x12 cab. Actual guitar was an Epi LP on the bridge p/u ( Gibson Classic 57+)

Nope, and that is what is so great. I was a huge Ramones fan back in the 80's and 90's and still am, though I do not put them on all the time any more. This tune is one of my all time favorites. Great job! I like your rhythm chops. My rhythm playing really needs some attention. Thanks for posting! :AOK:

My favourite Ramones tune as well! I started out with the backing track for 'Tie Your Mother Down' by Queen, but realized halfway through that I was'nt that familiar with the progressions during the solo break, so I switched to this tune. That's how I landed on the Brian May setting.

Thanks for taking the time to listen  :rotflmao:

I was also a big fan. If any of you do not own a live album by the Ramones buy one now. Their studio albums are OK, but recordings like "Loco Live" are off the hook!!!!

I also like that cover CD they did, the name escapes me now but I'm a fan of the track they did with former porn star Traci Lords.

Back OT,
Thanks for posting!!! I will absolutely be rocking out to this later tonight!!
