Today is the birth date of two highly influential and exceptionally talented guitar players.
Duane Allman - born Nov 20, 1946
Joe Walsh - born Nov 20, 1947
I don't think I need to tell anybody here who either of these two are or how influential their playing has been on those who have come after.
I only wish Duane was still around to gift us with his playing. I've seen the Allman Brothers Band upwards of 30 times but never with Duane as he died in 1971 when I was only a year old.
