Was on ACL tonight, and I wondered who she was. So I googled, like I do, and found she was the lead singer from Til' Tuesday, who I had liked at the time, and long forgotten. Well, here she is, doing what she does now, and from long ago. I find her very enjoyable.

Nice post. Mann's a pretty good singer/songwrtier. I think she's also done some working scoring films. "Magnolia" maybe??

Actualy saw Til Tuesday. I was living in Cambridge, Mass at the time and saw them at the Worcester Centrum, opening for Tom Petty. Good show!!

Brings back those 80's memories doesn't it? And it is good to see here still out there playing, looking and sounding good. The Austin City Limits show was mellow, and nice.

I didn't know that.

She did however, go out with Jules Shear, a fave songwriter of mine, back in the day.

If Id known she was on ACL Id have watched it...Im not a huge fan of hers, but have always dug her offerings...Id found this song on the "Magnolia" soundtrack and had to look into it, I was really surprised to see it was Ammie Mann(doing the cover).
Shes always kinda reminded me of Suzanne Vega in a way...just great songs, great voice.
