It's closer to Christmas and I figured I had better do something this year.
So like the lil drummer boy I have no gifts to bring. Just this song.
It is what it is, and I make no excuses.. well, I didn't have but 25 minutes
to lay down all the vocals and everything was thrown together franticly. I
wasn't going to spend a lot of time on a song that becomes obsolete in about 20 days.
That being said, I present 'A Christmas'.

Gotta say I'm pretty damn impressed on what you call a rush job recording. You are obviously pretty good at using the ol' mixing board. Very nice vocals, especially the chorus, and guitar playing is very purty and the whole thing was just a pleasure to listen to. :AOK:

Thanks so much for the ear and the kind replys... I myself woke up this morning, had a listen and wondered what the heck I was thinking.. one never knows I reckon..

I hope everyone has a great and safe Christmas holiday.. I really really really do.. I've been thinking a lot the last few days about the men and women stationed over seas, and those that wont (and some that never will) be able to get home for the Holidays.. my heart hangs heavy at the thought, but it has really been bugging me.. not to bring anyone down.. just some thoughts..

______________
StingX... as for using the mixing board.. to be honest I ran the single guitar down the middle, and being completly deaf in my right ear the only hope I had at mixing the vocals was a craps shoot.. just pan one over the the left a bit, one to the right a bit, etc..

Man o man o man am I glad you hear that it may of worked out!

____________

Again, appreciate it everyone.. it means a lot!

Hey Max,,

Holiday wishes back at you,,,

I guess this is just the push I needed to explore that audacity/computer recording approach. Great background vocals. Makes me want to learn how to do it...

Thanks,,,

Steve
