Looking to replace the stock Peavey humbucker on my Gen EXP and add a coil tap switch. I want something with a good classic rock growl (Seymour Duncan JB's seem to be recommended), but in single coil mode would give me some tele-type twang.
Any suggestions, or am I once again wishing for too much?
Option B would be to aquire an actual Tele, eh? :D

Check out the stock Squier 51 humbucker...Modders are selling them for cheap. It's pretty bright for a humbucker...On the 51, it sounds like a Tele in "normal" mode and like a Strat when split.

Yes, another vote for the '51 bucker! It's an awesome pickup.
