I was at my local food mart today and saw amongst their magazines that they had a GuitarWorld DVD of Andy Aledort teaching various songs from "Electric Ladyland." It includes three of my favorites: Crosstown Traffic (the song that pretty much singlehandedly made me want a fuzz pedal), All Along the Watchtower, and Voodoo Chile (Slight Return). The other songs on it are : Have You Ever Been (to Electric Ladyland), Come On (Let the Good Times Roll), and Gypsy Eyes. It also includes a little documentary and booklet on the making of the album. Not bad for $10, I didn't think--especially given how expensive note-for-note Hendrix stuff seems to be.
I only watched a bit of him teaching All Along the Watchtower. I'd like to know what the gorgeous looking and sounding 12 string is that he's playing.
