Hi guys.

I found you guys looking for info on Teles, as I'm thinking of getting my first Tele, but I'm gonna try to stay within a budget. I've been playing about 30 years, but not nearly enough of late. I've got a LP, Strat, and a parts strat, and looks like a Tele is next. Had my hands on a 50 something butterscotch tele a friend of my dad's brought by when I was a teenager. One word, SWEET.

Lots of good info on here. I look forward to stopping in.

They did tell ya that the new guy buys the next round, eh?

Welcome aboard - good luck with the Tele search. Lots of good folks here that will be more than willing to lend advice, or an opinion, or both :D They're hard on GAS, but it's the price we pay ;)

Welcome to the forum, there are a lot of Tele folks here or at least people that want to own one. You are in good company in your pursuit of a BUG (you'll have to search it out).

Enjoy the forum and look forward to hearing/reading more from you.

Welcome aboard. And yes, you will find folks here who have Telecasters, and then folks like me - who have them at the top of their GAS list - in my case a Squier Classic Vibe.

You will fit right in here. :AOK:

Welcome to TheFret, Percy!
I have a '52 FrankenTele, butterscotch. I think you should get you one also.
And the GFS looks really good.

Strange use of the term assuage.

Let's hope that you never join the Volunteer Fire Department to help put out fires.
