How in the world did the guitar scene even evolve with out these expensive picks to start with. I'm surprised we got any tone at all.

Looks like Blue Chips are going for the Bluegrass & Acoustic tortoise-shell market. Vinnie's are made mainly for smooth electric lead playing. Perhaps if he tinted his blue, then he could undercut Blue Chip.
