Hello everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself. I found the forum while searching for reviews of the new Squier Vibe 50s Strat and after looking around a bit it seems like it is filled with really cool and helpful people so I decided to join.
I am a 33 year old New Yorker, first started playing guitar when I was around 14 took lessons for about 4 years and then as i got into college I slowly lost touch with playing and the past few years I have hardly been playing at all. It's been a great regret and I have decided to finally take action and get my chops back. So here I am, the 50s vibe is on it's way and I am excited to get going...thanks!

Welcome to The Fret, Rugby! Glad to have you with us. Those Squier 50's Vibes are great guitars. We'll need to see some photos, though. Our motto around here (well, one of them!) is "Pix or it didn't happen!" :D

Welcome to TheFret. I'm sure that you fit right in - space is available for any level of guitar player and musical interests. :D

Good guitar that you've picked - the Squier Classic Vibe series has gotten many good reviews - in fact the CV Tele is on the top of my GAS list.

Welcome!

Are you a rugbyer?

I'm too small for that game, association football for me.
