I'm looking at buying one so I wanted to see if anyone out there has experience with them.
I tried one last night and couldn't believe how nice the action and neck feel. And while the strings weren't of my liking, the sound was truly amazing! Very much like a true acoustic guitar.

I had never heard of one before so I googled it.

Is it similar to the Godin a-series?

Yes, they look very similar, except the Guild has nothing on the front except strings. I don't know how the Godin guitar sounds as I've never played one. But my A5 produces some really nice sounds. It does tend to feed back at high volume which is something that Guild says it's guitar won't do. From the reviews I've read, that's true.
When I get mine, I'll do some recording with it and post it.
