My latest blues funk jam..."Introspection Blues"

Bouncing back from all those
yesterdays.
Somewhere south of ecstasy...yeah
Running around with a brand new crew
Doing what comes oh so naturally with you

Looking for a brand new mystery
Tapping out a message in code
Tossing out history selectively
All my memories of you are so cold

How many steps are in this dance
A life lived in a flash
A clean slate nothing's left forever
Only thing left is to take out the trash...hey

Don't look back
Keep on straight ahead now
Reach down deep in your soul
Feed the fire of your goals desires
Make it happen ten fold

Bad times may come
Bad times may go
It doesn't really matter anyway

So look up, shake yourself off now
Go on, get on with your day
The truth is it's only getting better now
Better now, soon to start...yeah

Jump up shake that thing off
It's time to follow your heart...yeah

Man, I don't even know what to say anymore. There are some incredibly talented people on this forum, and I'm sorry to say I haven't listened to some of these posts earlier.

Thanks for the music Frank. Very nice.

And now I'm extremely depressed, so if you'll excuse me, I'm off to sing in the bathroom where the acoustics sound great and even I sound ok. :AOK:

I think I'll play that several times a day! Smoke'n guitar playing and vocals.

I always enjoy hearing you play, and enjoy this one in particular.

Thanks so much...I've been a bit intimidated about doing the vocals..since i'm not a singer, but my management has been insisting on me writing more vocals blues rock rather than the instrumental jazz/fusion I'm used to. So that's it in a nut shell.:thwap:

I had to teach many beginner students and do many club date gigs to finally get the gear I really enjoy using....the wish list never ends.:)
