Thanks. I've always like sunbursts too, but to be honest, I'm kinda in love with this one at the moment...only had it for about 10 or 11 weeks....
I also think bare wood is the only colour for a Strat headstock. Painted headstocks, to me, just don't look right. I guess its just a question of aesthetics, you either like 'em or loathe 'em.
Thanks Spudman :)

Back in the days when I was a bass player I played a black 1978 Rickenbacker 4001. Coolest bass I ever saw. Always wanted a Ricky cos of the Chris Squire, Geddy Lee, Glenn Hughes connection. That...
Rival Sons " Pressure And Time"
Awesome retro rock, old school Zep style.
With reference to my previous post about wanting to show pics of my sunburst Strat, according to the "Posting Permissions" box at the bottom of my page I may not post attachments.

Thanks guys, appreciate your help.
I'm a neurological surgeon.
Haha............no really I work in a factory, inspecting auto oil pans for defects in the paint finish. How mundane can you get :rollover
It pays the bills though....
I got this on DVD. For anyone even remotely interested in rock guitar this is an interesting docu-movie. Jimmy Page, as already mentioned, is awesome. His contributions alone make this worth...
I'm new to posting on a forum, so I wondered if anyone could help me? I'd like to upload some photos of one of my guitars (from a folder in my "My Pictures" file , Windows 7 ) into a post on a...
No need to apologise, and I hope your new Tele gives you a lot of pleasure....in fact, I'm sure it will :AOK
Cool looking guitar! Like the blue sunburst. I've never actually seen one of these "in the flesh" so to speak, but Reverend guitars have always had good positive reviews. I'd be interested in trying...
I'm fine thanks, just chillin' out before an early bed ( gotta be up at 4.15am... shift work )
If you're just looking at p/up replacement, I'd say go for it. Even with the cost of new p/ups added...
You gotta love Tele's !! :rockya
Hey, guitartango, how ya doin'?
I just tried to upload some pictures , but it seems I can't upload attachments. Maybe its because I'm still a newbie. Never mind, maybe in the future :)
Hi mapka, thanks for the welcome. You're right about the folk on here...those I've spoken to so far seem real friendly. By the way, your JCM900 stack has got me drooling !!!!!
Katastrophe, sounds...
Those vids show just how good a CV Tele can sound ! Who said Tele's were only good for country?????
Katastrophe, thanks bro, and I agree with you about Strats....real cool guitars, and so versatile,...
Hey, I love your Wine Red LP Studio ! There's something really cool about that stripped down look. Also really like your Blackstar.....I've been thinking about buying a HT Stage 60 for a while now,...
Hey, don't say your Tele is "just a Squier", I've owned a couple of Squiers myself and they're fine guitars. And like you suggest, you can always upgrade the hardware if you want to. :D
Hi Charlie, noticed on your introductory post you were getting a Tele. Have you got it yet, and if so, how you getting on with it? I got a 52 Reissue, the butterscotch one, wired up as original but...
Guess I'll feel right at home then, lol
I come from the same town that Glenn Hughes grew up in. I'm a big fan of Joe Bonamassa. Jason Bonham also comes from my part of the UK, known as the "Black Country", and is the son of the late John...
