Some of the girls were cute.
A friend is letting me borrow a '72 Gibson SG Special.
All original. mini humbuckers.
Sweet.
I think he might want me to buy it. You see he has this classic truck that he is restoring...
Being engaged means NOTHING without a ring and a wedding date.
I've got a set if someone wants to trade me somethin good. :D
They were removed by melting the solder..I didn't cut the wires.
Thats a great tune. Well played and fun and good singing and nice balance. Could use a little extra something on the outro.
Thanks for that. :AOK:
Call it Fives
One thing that is interesting to me about Radiohead is the different kinds of musicians that cover their songs. For instance:

Is Paul Reed Smith guitars washed up? I remember when these were one of THE guitars to own. I just dont hear about them anymore...
What should I try next?[/QUOTE]
I would swap out the tubes one at a time until the feedback goes away.
Some peoples might say the same thing about us beating on the six strings..:rotflmao:
Not to mention that guitar on the vid had TONS of effects swirling around. Who knows what the guitar really sounds like.
OK so theres not a ton of guitar in these songs..but I think they are hilarious...
So if you need a good PG13 laugh..

The first clip is just a couple...
Thanks for the tip...btw.
Geez...You'd think I smeared watercolor all over the Mona Lisa or something...:thwap:

I actually liked the sound of the stock pups but they a little on the low output side. So if I’m soloing to Godzilla for instance there just isn’t enough fatness to mimic humbuckers. Not that...
Why? Because I had them around. I originally tried them in my American Deluxe but found I liked the SCN's better in there. The Fralin blues just sounded darker than the SCN's.
How do they sound...
Sometimes when I'm bored or I need cheering up I read the replys to some of your YouTube vids.
Stuff like..
"yerr sitting next to a wall. Are you a carpender?"
"You look knida funny but yer...
Well, the 60's strat has AlNiCo V pups so they have more output. They will sound a little fatter with distortion but not quite as good clean in my opinion.
Your sure? It's a re-fin.:)
That was fun..
The more I watch/listen to live Rock and Roll the more I realize you don't have to play perfect. You just have to have the right 'tude.
Thanks for all the new stuff you post Spud.
Come Sail Away - Styx
