Grettings from S.E. Michigan - Welcome to the Fret : )
I had a Carvin 4x10 w/ 8 ohm spks. it was factory wired for 8 ohms.
You can run the Crate Head into the Carvin and you'll be fine.
But, if you try to run both the internal 8 ohm spk and the 8 ohm...
I got your HWY 1 sibling.....
Was born like this:

Later matured into this:...
ROFL - That was great - gotta share that one around
The tones are absoultly stratorific.....
Bridge pup is strong, smooth, stratty w/ out being too bright.
Middle is got some serious spank goin on
Neck is full and has that Trower straty meaty...

Okay maybe I missed it early on, didn't realize you are using a 'Digital Snake'
Skimming through the manual, I see that there is a gain adjustment available for each channel. Have you palyed...
The DI's XLR output is LoZ, the snake has 'No Z' just connections and wire.
The output end of the snake in the sound booth should just go to an XLR mic input and your done !!
But you are converting...
Does the DI have an XLR out or is it a 1/4" balanced?
If its 1/4" balanced it will have a TRS type of jack. (Tip Ring Sleve) which looks like a stereo plug or jack. If that's the case, then you can...
A few suggestions:
To see if your pedal rig is putting out enough signal, just plug it in w/ a short guitar cable directly to the mixer (no snake, no cables over 25 ft.)
If the signal level is...
This came off my Fender Hwy 1 Strat.
I kept the switch and controls for my new SSS setup.
The knobs & Sw tip included.
Poss trades for other guitar gadgets, pedals, drum machine, etc.
$75.00...
I was surprised that these BL's were only $40.00ea. I was expecting more $$ along the lines of the Fralins or Kinmans.
I did have to wait ~ 4 weeks to get them, but that was NBD...
Once I have...
I ended up putting a set of Bill Lawrence NF singles w/ a new SSS guard.
L200's in the neck and middle. L290SL in the bridge.
Love'em so far. Noise Free, great balance, stratty, and the bridge...
I traded for one about a month ago....
It's an 07' w/ HSS setup.
Yes, the jumbos are great!!
I'm lovin' mine for sure.....
I've owned two of the TM60's and the TM120.
I'd go with the TM 60 over the TM30 because:
Two foot-switchable channels & Solo Boost
Twice the wattage for playing live
The TM60 sounds the same at...
It's hard to beat a good tube amp for harmonic content, warmth, dynamics, and feel. IMHO the cost of tubes is worth every penny.
Over all, it's proably way less than the cost of guitar strings over...
Looking good M29 :applause
Ya know that would make a cool fretless neck:AOK
Hey if you haven't picked one up yet, I have a 12" radius sanding block you can borrow....
The Crunch Box is cool, it's alot like the Fulltone OCD.
In the same category w/ a much more transparent sound and more versatile IMHO - is the Visual Sound 'Son of Hyde'
I picked up a used one for...
I've been doing some research on Noiseless pups for my Strat and ran across this page:

Good stuff from one of industries...
+1
Typically a batch of pedals up front on a nice tube amp will give you the versaitilty you may need. Probably why there is a gazillion pedals to choose from.
Here's a new amp line that are...
Here's a few snaps fom the show....

That's ultra sweet my friend.....
Nice work !!
That's a great pedal, definatly on my GAS list.....
Lookin' good M29.....ya gonna have her ready for the amph show?
I'm gonna bring mine so peeps can try a GDS S/C rig.
I'm quite the opposite as I just got my first Fender Strat.
I love the versatility and that un mistakeable Strat sound....
I also have a Carvin Bolt, which is a fine insrument too, but its set up...
