I can, and do.
The trick is getting the tone & technique correct. Most people play it hoirribly, horribly wrong. :)

Um...er...
And the winner is....
A Dr. Z Monza head in SURF GREEN!!!!
This is an AMAZING amp!!!!!
OK, here it is as succinctly as I can put it:
Started a new job March 1st.
Had to become licensed for this job. They paid for it. No sweat.
BUT: instead of the 45 days they told me I would...
Bought myself a Pignose a couple of days after Christmas. Does that count?
I stepped out to buy some strings, and it was here waiting for me.
It's great! I prefer to have the "cab" open, though. Too boxy otherwise! :rotflmao:
Using my American Series Telecaster, I...
"Out for Delivery"!
Woo-hoo!

...They made the 1x12 I put my Dr. Z MAZ 18 through. I bought it loaded with a Celestion Vintage 30. Built like a brick house, and sounds great!
BTW, this is one of only 3 forums I posted this on that didn't result in a barrage of "You should get...", "Buy (an obscure cheese whistle amp) and (perform mods)".
You guys kept to the topic, and...
No reverb on the Pignose. "Dry & Ratty" is how I would describe it.
The Microcube has great effects built in.
The Pignose 7-100 is SS.
My daughter has the Microcube. It's fun, for sure, but I'm looking for something simple this time around.
Can't lug the Dr. Z/cab/attentuator out every time I get the urge to play. Because of kids (potential clumsiness) & cats (potential clawliness), I have to keep the cab covered and the amp in it's...
Unemployed insurance/financial manager.
This is a fantastic amp. I spent a long while with the 20 watt Jet City "stack" and a road worn Tele the other day. It's a great amp for everything from blues to hard rock.
+1. I'm eyeballing the 5 watter.
I want it. I have the money. But I am between jobs. Still, that could ease my depression about being between jobs...
Juds Priest's "Living After midnight" solo was the first one I ever learned. Really tasty & catchy!
Sorry for the late reply:
Mine is "only" 18 watts, but it is LOUD. I run it with an attenuator (Dr. Z's "Airbrake"). It takes to overdrive pedals very well, so my set up is just guitar----> tuner...
I'll second (or third, whichever) Kiteman's suggestion re: the Blackheart.
A buddy of mine on another forum is a Bugera dealer and has seen a lot of failure in them. The Blackhearts have a...
I play through a MAZ 18 NR. geatest amp ever!!! I highly recommend the Dr.'s amps. What kind of a sound are you looking to get?
I love changing strings. there is a ritual feeling to it. And upon conclusion of teh ritual...we let the neighbors know we are done.
(insert manly grunting here)
C-shape witha singnificant girth to it. This is most comfortable for me to play rhythm, and I spend 90+% of a song playing rhythm. :D
Thanks for the heads up on the bushing. I had a Legacy some years ago, so I am aware of the little bugger.
However: the screw that adjust it is gone! :rotflmao:
My dealer is dropping one in...
