I agree with Tig, nice Tele tone and great playing also.
Buttercup squash is delicious! I like to try a lot of different varieties when they are available at the grocer.
Welcome Dean.
I'm a new guy here as well and have found this to be a pretty friendly bunch.
Congrats on the new gig, NWBasser.
I checked out their MySpace page and from the selections there they sound like a fun group.
I used it for a little while; I also got a copy with my Mustang, but didn't care for it much. I've been using Reaper and find it easier to use and more intuitive.
That being said, this page may...
Which driver are you using?
I've had good results with the ASIO4all driver to eliminate or reduce latency.
Super looking guitar! Congrats on the new acquisition.
I always liked the guitar tone in this song. Starts in at about 00:40

A couple of relatively new bands I've been listening to are The Randy Rogers Band and The Band of Heathens. Both are Texas Country/Americana.
Are you sure it's not a string or strings readjusting tension as a result of binding in the nut or saddles after bends?
For me it's about trying to find that tone I hear in my head. With relatively little experience on six string, I haven't gotten enough gear time to know what will give me which tone.
So it's try...
Good point, deeaa. After listening to it a bit, I agree that section does sound a tad average.
I'll stick it in the back of my mind to percolate and see if anything bubbles up. :)
My go to is a Peavey Genny EXP Triple Single. Love that 12" radius neck!
Sounds like you're on the mend, Brian.
All the best. :)
LOL! Yep, you're absolutely right! I'll see about rounding some up. :D
Thanks for the comments, guys. I'll have to see if I can muster up some sort of solo to play against it.
I haven't listened to that song in quite some time but if memory serves you nailed it pretty good there, Lachy.
They've got some nice looking guitars and not bad quality according to a couple of guys on another forum I go on occasionally.
I've got my eye on the XV-825 'Keef' model.
Top most influential guitarists?
In no particular order,
Johnny Rivers
Ernie Isley (on bass)
Jimi Hendrix
Robin Trower ( in his Procol Harum days)
Alan Wilson
That has to be one of the strangest thread titles yet. :rollover
I've had one for a few weeks now and have to say it's a pretty amazing piece of gear for the price!
I'm still learning the ins and outs but have already discovered a lot of potential.
Welcome...
I use a SimpleTech external 500GB USB drive made by Hitachi for backup.
I like the idea of the Thermaltake BlacX Spudman is using; easy to swap out drives and extra handy if a drive happens to...
Thanks Monkus. And thanks for the comment on my backer. :dance
deeaa, from reading the forum it looks like you're the man to ask about all things recording. I'm a beginner so I'll probably have...
Thanks Monkus.
I uploaded a new version; cleaned up the guitar part and changed it a bit.
