:) too late....it's been here a couple months.
I was a charter member of the HOC. Sad to see it is gone but these things run their course.

Not much middle ground with Parkers.

I think they are beautifully made and sound great but there is an issue on my EJ strat.
The high E is kicked offline. Maybe they are slightly wider...not sure but I may put the stock saddles back...

I've not played an S-500 but I have a Legacy which just a killer guitar.
As I understand it the Ceramic pickups in the S-500 are hotter, and handle high gain better while the Alnico 5's in the...
Out of the gillion strats I've had including Custom shop I am happiest for dollar spent with the Eric Johnson strat. 12" radius on a nice sized neck makes for great playability.

They really do have a nice list of features that you can't get anywhere else short of custom shop, for instance.
