An update-- even with just an outside-only hand-tightening, I got the jack problem fixed. Still not 100% tight, but the buzz is gone and it doesn't crackle or pop while playing. Cleaned up the neck...
Missing a string and a knob, but no biggie. Also, I need to do some work on the input jack, may be able to tighten it, may have to replace it. Has short. Buzzes like a beejeezus unless you lean on...
