Thanks, fellows! PBP, I bought a Morely Classic Wah to go with the amph, which is the first effects pedal I have used in years. It works great!

My new amph came in on Thursday! It's a Blackstar HT Club 40. It sounds great at low volume and turned up. It's a behemoth in a large box that can do Voxy dirty cleans and Marshall dirt. A twist of...

I wish I had played the 45 watt version while out and about this weekend. Having an attenuator would be a good thing to have for that beast!
I played a Bassman RI this past week, and there is...
NAD coming soon... I won't tell you just yet what I got, except to say that is sounds absolutely killer, clean and distorted, at levels from a whisper to a roar. 😀

Congrats, man! Your Cab is awesome, made even mores by the mods. Nice!
Hey Jimi, thanks! Which Bassbreaker did you play? I love those micro terrors, and have seen vids on the Purple Wind. They sound great! I'll be using whatever little monster tube amph for jams and...
Thanks, Marnold! The pups are great! They take high gain really well, and just sound great. if you're a Jumbo fret kinda guy, you'd like the narrow jumbos on the neck. They're tall, but not quite...
HOLD UP! Just saw the Blackstar HT 20 studio can be had for $549 at Sweetwater. Two channels, with the ISF knob that that will go from American to British tones. This just might be what I am...
It does figure that I would want the near-impossible *smacks forehead*. So it's now down to the Bassbreaker 15 watter, the Vox AC15, and the Laney Cub... I've played the Vox and the 7 watt...
The Vox is a definite contender. Honestly, I don't need 40 Watts either. But, MF was blowing out the DSL for less than a 15 watt Bassbreaker, which is a pretty good deal. What I really want is an...
:happyThanks, Robert! Now, on to amps... I sure could use some help in that department. .. I am a huge fan of British tones, and want to go with a tube amph. Was looking at the Marshall DSL40C, as...

Thanks! They are Tex-Mex pickups... They sound fantastic clean, and really come alive with higher gain stuff. The neck is nice and full, and the taller frets are great. Love it!

She is a Road Worn Telecaster, now named Eleanor, or Ellie for short. Picked her up today. She can go from sweet and...
Suggested retail of $1310.00 US for the Dual head is expensive, though.
Very nice! Makes me wonder if this will filter over to Line6, now that Yamaha owns them. The product sounds fantastic. I did chuckle a little bit when the reviewer spoke of "disgusting" levels of...
Thanks, y'all. I appreciate the help!
....but I'm going to ask it!
My Strat (2006 MIM Standard) has developed a pronounced forward bow in the neck. Since it doesn't have a bi-directional truss rod, what's the best way to fix the...
Nice an clean, DVM. You sure do pretty work!
Awesome post, DVM... I shall bump thy thread, so that thou may sellest most killer amph to a worthy personeth of less modesteth means.
The GAS is reaching near Biblical proportions. Somebody buy this amph!
Yep, he's got a definite oddball sense of humor, which I dig. But man, his technique! Fast and clean. I'll never get there, but it's fun to hear someone get shreddy and have some fun with it, too.
You've seen cartoons. You've possibly seen power metal. But you've never seen Green Power Ranger Power Metal.
Enjoy!

Oh man! The JTM45 is my favorite all time amph.... The price is great, too. It should go fast.
