Since this old post was dug up.....I will give an update....It actually was an original 64 guitar. the guy who had it got it from his dad who bought it new.

very interesting....no wonder I could not find...
very interesting....no wonder I could not find any info on a natural finish for that guitar....and knowing the source...it really figures.
