I kinda am too. My grandparents are from Devils Lake. So if not for them I wouldn't be here. So in the grand scheme of things...I'm there with ya man. ;)

But I was under the impression that the town actually got it's name from captain Spinney.

I have such fond memories from Saskatchewan of softball sized hail and grasshopper guts coating my motorcyle engine. Ah, the aroma of cooked bugs.
