Why not cut & paste your F/S & link over at WAG? Can't hurt. At least they tend to more appreciate finer acoustics and aren't so afflicted with tunnel-vision and, (let's call it frugality.)
I can't believe this is still F/S.
A lot of times, after a string change, a tuner shaft nut loosens and causes the washer to buzz or chatter that is mistaken for string buzz.
Worth checking.
Funny observation about guitars - you can pick up two identical models and get a different "vibe" from each. Gotta go with the magic when you can find it.
Simple - If you like it, buy it. Who cares what others think, ain't their money!
Gretsch makes a true acoustic archtop (G100 Synchromatic). Available for $499 if you don't mind black: SKU 517748 at Musician's Friend.

D'Addario includes a .017 wound in the XL110 Nickel Wound sets and also sells them as multipak singles. I wouldn't trust a .016 bronze wound anyway as it seems like it would be very fragile at 16.5...
No, none of the Thinlines are viable for acoustic play.
You can find .016 steel singles anywhere, but I've not seen a wound one in that diameter. D'Addario does make a wound .017 though:...
That's not true. Rocket bought 2 high end guitars from Dave and would have bought a 3rd if he could have gotten it for him. I don't know why you would say such a thing Kazz.
Washburn HAS been around a long time but their reputation is not all virginal.
In 2000, after a 5-year investigation, Washburn pleaded guilty to two counts of fraud, sentenced to five years...
We're 30 miles south of launch and get great view & full, albeit slightly delayed, audio. We've driven up the coast a few times to get a better look but never found it worth the drive. Both times...
Nothing special about Washburns except for some of the people that have them. I could say the same for Gibsons, Fenders, Taylors, et alii.
Maybe they can all bring production back home some day....

Rocket bought all that nerd-bait to build a new power-system for himself but never got around to assembling it before he left. He ended up buying a new laptop and now his...
This is probably not the place for this, but follows the subject & intent of the thread.
If anyone is looking to put together a power gaming system, I have a closet full of parts I'd like to be rid...
Everyone that knows Rocket also knows he's very sensitive about his privacy and I'm sure to pay for revealing any of this, but
While Rocket was home he needed to see his doc about problems he has...
EC brought it but adding Doyle Bramhall II to the mix made the night.
I saw him on the 5th at the Hard Rock Live-Hollywood, second stop on this current tour.
Great show (as always), lousy venue (as always)!
Didn't mean to rub you the wrong way. Of course you have every freedom to honor turkeys on Mother's Day if you wish--but that doesn't make it Thanksgiving!
[I'm an army vet but my dad died in WWII....
Memorial Day seems to have gotten blurred and diluted with Veteren's Day. Let's remember that Memorial Day is reserved as a day to remember those who died in active service.
