That is some good sounding music. I have been liking Night Ranger ever since their first album (Dawn Patrol)... Good to hear new stuff from them. A plus that is sounds so good.

As to the Epi being poor copies of (the real thing) Gibsons, to a certain degree, that is true, but they are quality instruments in their own rights. The major price difference come from two things:...
You might want to look into the new Epiphone 339s that they just came out with. I watched the vid, and the Ultra sounds really nice, plus it has the NanoMag pickup. It's a nice mix of the ES335...
Most amps require a latching style footswitch. The non-latching are for (typically) keyboard sustain pedals and the like. However, the Behringer line of amps with digital effects use a non-latching...
So, how 'bout them Colt! Two in a row for the older Manning's [former?] team... also, first time in NFL history a team with 1 win (or less) has beaten a team with 10 wins.

Has anyone seen these?

Very interesting idea, imo. What do you think?

I like it, doesn't do "sparkley" clean but it does the overdriven thing well. Plus you can change the sound based on the type of output tube you put in it (and it'll take alot! 6L6, 6V6, EL34, etc). ...
Great post Eric, lets all look and see just how much money we spen this past year! LOL
For me I got quite a few:
Guitars:
'08 Gibson Les Paul Studio (sold it)
'01 Eipiphone 58 Korina Explorer...
I have to admit, I have been a kiss fan ever since hearing Alive II back in 1978. I have, in the last year purchased all the old (makup) stuff of theirs, they've alway been a favorite. My favorite...
WOW! That is one sweet lookin' guitar!
Scott
LOL! I knew someone would do that...
I used to be able to post pics directly to the forum, but now I can't seem to... Is it because I don't have a "paid sponsorship?"
Anyway, I have a photobucket...
Shim the neck, to increase the angle, to allow you to raise the saddles so there is not so much of the adjustment screws sticking up... I've had a few strats and I've done that with them to fix this...
Eric,
As for the possibility of a GFS pickup... I have a set of both the 59s and the FatPats, and If you are looking for something a little warmer, go with the FatPats. I think the FatPats are just...
I just could not resist... :dance
Ever since I'd seen the "new" Gibson Les Paul Jr and Special guitars with the P90 pickups at GC, I've wanted one... Just couldn't bring myself to fork over $800...
Steve,
My heart goes out to you and you family in these trying times. One of the hardest things to do is watch someone you love die from a horible disease, like cancer. My wife pass on October 13,...
The song was beautiful, and the playing was excellent... I liked it.
Some of those jump were INSANE!!! I'm too old to live *that* dangerously. But, that must be one helluva rush.
It was a little unusual do the little bit of adjustment to it... I'm so used to import guitars, I had to dig out my ratcheting driver and sockets to do the truss rod adjustment, and a flat-head screw...
:happy I just got back from the (not quite local) Guitar Center in Pueblo... Traded in my MIK Squier Strat and a few bucks (yeah, a few! LOL) for a brand-new-to-me Gibson Les Paul Studio (2008) in...
Eric, I had been looking at the Jet City amps, and had I not gotten my Windsor Studio, I would have gotten the combo like yours. I like reverb! The head version does not have it, and I don't have a...
That was kinda cool. Very well mixed, at least. The music world lost a great tallent when Brad died.
What thou postes is eminently humor laden!
There is one thing that is missing from the info on these guitars... Where are they made? Either I'm blind and can't find it or they are hiding the info... My suspicions are, Mexico. But, the price...
I picked up one of the X series Martins. Made in Mexico. Originally I got the dreadnought DX1AE, but I took it back due to the size and got the 000X1AE instead. Both are the same price ($499.99)....
