.. damn I hope you're wearing ear plugs too! Ouch! WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU! ;-)
Sweet. Otaypanky-- you're spot on! with some guitar -side volume adjustments / picking attacks it picks up the dirt and grind with great ease! I got a fulltone ocd because I was wary I wouldn't be...
sounds like its not worth the trouble / loss of x y and z!
I dropped the ball, that's what happened. It looks like only a handful of us, but would still be fun to meet up and have some beers and talk about all that gear and technical stuff that none of our...
I traded my 40watt Hot Rod Deluxe for a Vox AC15, but I've been very pleased with the results. Practice with the band, and I was still able to be plenty loud with room to spare on the volume dials......
It is odd that i stumbled on this thread today, my left hand is useless today after a long gig on a sore carpel tunnel / rsi ordeal. Having not physically lost anything certainly puts it in a...
Well. I figured this was the most appropriate area for this thread, let me know otherwise if that is the case ... but would anyone be interested in having Philadelphia Pa fretters meet up for...
I usually have the alarm clockable grind+brew kind but at the office or when i am not making lots of cofffee: these things are simple as anything and cheap. grind coffee, boil water, pour through...
ZMAN you're probably right on. Maybe a roland cube 60 or something just to get by. i guess a backup is not your ideal amp scenario its a shit hit the fan! scenario. Something's better than nothing...
I think I need to sit down with a "Tube Amps Explained" book or something. This is all very good information I just don't quite understand half of it. I like the way they sound / react! Now I have to...
Good feedback everyone , thanks- I forgot it didn't have a tube rectifier. I liked the idea of the direct box (like a sansamp or something) in case of emergency straight to the PA. Spare set of tubes...
So my band has a gig playing a wedding coming up and I keep having this thought in the back of my mind... my tube amp is working great, no problems. (HRDx) But... what are people's experiences...
From what it seems, this is for posting your weekend lazyness (or lack there of) someone please educate me if my post is out of line... Lazy. Lazy. Lazy. That's been my weekend. The boss is away next...
Its that search for tone that is never complete, right? Lets start with the fact I currently have a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, but I was wondering if anyone has used the Tech 21 Trademark 30? It looks...
EDIT: same guitar and amp at other location with no problem so it's not the guitar...
Still battling that annoying hiss and buzz from my amp. it is quiet as anything at my practice location but...
ok not what i expected to find on the guitar forum but with that kind of title you HAVE to read it... I think I can present the other side of the issue right here..

:-D
new plate from callaham (decided to do it "proper"), that's all it needed. old saddles etc all setup great. it seems sustainier than i remembered. didn't really think a chunk of metal would make that...
well. I woke up this morning and started taking my strat apart, i put the new block in under the original plate, and the hole for the trem arm is misaligned with the receptacle in the block :-/ so......
check these two pages. its not the best designed site in the world but it's there :-)

Yeah I ordered it on Monday. I got it today shipped plain us postal. That's not bad for a custom shop response time that leaves you 24 months out if you order a guitar :-) They might be busy but...
So i can't wait to get home and replace the block and trem that came on my strat. Why does fender send them out of the factory with so much wiggle / play room / crappy arms??? ahh thats right. its...
There seems to be a mix of literature on the web proclaiming an attenuator will possibly ruin your amplifier, blw your tubes etc, and the converse that they are just fine. Anyone have a personal...

i love the beating dead horse icon and I feel it is appropriate.. but i have one more comment here... I returned the Epi BC30. I really liked it, but reality of...
Yeah I just used the tiniest drop i could get from the krazy glue allocator. it didn't burn or sting or anything. Sounds good thanks :-)
